THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CAME OUT AND VOTED!!!
Mark M. Zlock, Esq. has announced his intention to run for Magisterial District Judge in District 07-2-07, formerly held by the late Judge Donald Nasshorn.
EDUCATION
Mark has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lehigh University, a Juris Doctor degree from Dickenson School of Law and he comes from a long line of Attorneys and Judges.
EXPERIENCE IN LAW AND BUSINESS
Mark is a practicing Attorney in Newtown experienced in Family and Criminal Law, Civil and Criminal Litigation, Protection from Abuse, Landlord/Tenant and Traffic Offenses. Mark is a successful business owner in Bucks County since 1993.
COMMITMENT TO OUR COMMUNITY
Mark is committed to serving full-time as Judge and to maintain an efficient and effective court. Mark will come down from the bench to volunteer and interact with our community and schools.
Growing up in Newtown, my parents and grandparents often expressed the importance of caring for and giving back to the community. I am an Eagle Scout and have been successful, both personally and professionally, in this community for almost 40 years. Now it’s my turn to give back on a higher level.
The Magisterial District Court is the gateway to the legal process, which provides the Judge the ability to keep our community safe, resolve civil matters and handle criminal matters appropriately. An effective Magisterial District Judgeship must have an intimate knowledge of our community, successful business practices, courtroom trial experience and a FORMAL EDUCATION IN THE LAW. I have these qualifications and can serve this community in the manner it deserves!
I firmly believe each case should be adjudicated based upon its own merits and understand the importance of impartiality in the judicial process.
I want to help folks understand the judicial process and how it can work for them at the local level. I intend to follow the example set by Judge Donald Nasshorn by promoting early intervention and rehabilitation for young people and being active with youth groups in the Newtown, Upper Makefield and Wrightstown communities.
